Stone Bird Baths

Many favored stone baths are sculpted directly from stone out
of the quarry. A favorite stone is sandstone. The more
expensive stone baths will be hand carved, while there are
lower cost units that are machined.
When buying your stone bird bath, make sure that it is
shallow enough for the birds to stand safely in the water
itself. if the bird bath itself has a basin that is too deep,
put some small rocks or stone in the bowl, to shallow up the
bowl. Be sure to put it away from potential predators like
cats or even squirrels.
